EARLY BIRD PRICING ENDS AUGUST 15, 2022

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 30, 2022

This training builds capacity in both leadership and critical thinking for emerging leaders in the audit community and provides participants with tools and opportunities for them to grow as leaders. It combines both personal leadership discovery and growth with creativity and problem solving.
Through a series of lectures, exercises, reflection, leadership assessment and guest speakers, this training allows participants to explore and develop their innate leadership qualities.

Participants will also work on “innovation challenges” – practical projects that are developed by participants throughout the program. The objective of the innovation challenges is to provide the opportunity for participants to contribute to the innovation and evolution of practices within their offices, and in so doing, to apply the leadership skills they have acquired during the course.

Participants will be required to speak with Sr. management in their office to come up with innovation topics for consideration. The CAAF team will short list the topics and form teams based on a consideration of several factors. Topics of past innovation challenges include:

  • How can audit offices most effectively engage with stakeholders in order to maximize the relevance of the audits we select?
  • What is the value of performance audit, and how do we demonstrate and communicate this to relevant stakeholders?
  • How can audit offices increase their relevance in the digital age?
