We are pleased to welcome the 2018-19 class of Fellows to Canada!
The Fellows arrived in Canada in September and have been completing a series of professional training courses and orientation activities with the Foundation. This week they are joining their host offices—the Offices of the Auditors General of Canada and of British Columbia—where they will each be part of an audit team and will both learn from Canadian colleagues and mentors and contribute their skills and experience to a performance audit. In addition to their work at their host office, the Fellows will each develop a plan for a performance audit that will be carried out at their SAI when they return home, all on topics relating to development priorities. The Fellowships are part of our seven-year International Governance, Accountability and Performance Program. On behalf of the Foundation and the Fellows, we acknowledge and thank the Government of Canada for funding the program and the Offices of the Auditors General of Canada and British Columbia for hosting this year’s Fellowship placements.
